There are many martial arts academy’s and training centers you have to compete with. You need to do more than just hang a shingle and rely upon word of mouth if you want your business to thrive.
You’ll need a marketing system and a few martial arts sales letters to use in your marketing to attract new clients.
Rather than doing a blanket marketing campaign that targets everyone you should consider breaking your marketing strategies into different mini marketing systems that target different groups of people.
For example, you can target parents of children, moms, single moms, and people who have shown interest in self defense.
In the not so distant past martial arts was mostly a sport targeted to men. But now women are joining martial arts classes in droves because they are no different than men when it comes to wanting to learn how to defend yourself, getting a good workout, and competing.
Martial Arts Sales Letter Targeting Women!
The practice of Martial Arts is no longer a male-dominated activity. Instead, it is now widely accepted as a critical skill for women who want to participate in their own personal safety while maintaining their physical fitness.
My name is (Name). I am writing on behalf of (Name of Business) to introduce you to our Martial Arts training programs.
We train hundreds of individuals in self-defense techniques to prepare them for the most common personal attacks. Our drills leverage styles, such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, American boxing, and wrestling.
One of our most popular classes is our Beginner Jiu-Jitsu Class for Women – a session where a community of women can train together on a regular basis in a safe, supportive environment.
In the process of becoming skilled in self-defense, they learn that mastering Martial Arts is not just about strength or speed, but is also about practice, discipline, focusing and having faith in the technique.
(Name of Business) may be your perfect opportunity to:
- Learn how to protect yourself from common assaults
- Develop stronger self-esteem and mental toughness
- Become more confident
- Increase mental awareness and focus
- Benefit from significantly increased fitness
You will receive specialized training, while also have an opportunity to learn from and work with other women from the community, often leading to long-lasting friendships.
If you are interested in joining one of our Martial Arts programs, please visit our website at (URL) or call us at (phone #).
We would love to invite you to observe a class and take a tour of our facility!
Martial Arts Sales Letter Targeting Parents!
If you want to get more children into your martial arts classes you need to target the parents with a letter system. You can get a list of parents in your area from dozens of mailing list companies. Infousa.com is one to consider for your mailing lists.
If you are like most parents, you are trying to expose your children to a wide range of enriching experiences after school and during the summer. Today, there are many choices of child-focused activities to consider, but if you haven’t introduced them to martial arts, now may be the time to do so!
Many people think of martial arts in terms of self-defense, but it’s more than that. Engaging in martial arts is wonderful way for children and teens to develop confidence, self-discipline, agility, focus, respect, and awareness of their surroundings. It also expends some of that wonderful energy that youth has in abundance!
(Name of Business) provides mixed martial arts training that is based on traditions and principles of the past. We offer programs for children ages 3 to 16 as well as summer camps.
Our youngest participants benefit from practicing listening and following directions, working cooperatively, and developing visual, spatial and body awareness. Our 16 year olds improve their physical conditioning and performance while also experiencing thrilling and safe scenario-based self-defense.
All ages have the advantage of working with inspiring and motivational role models. We teach them that learning martial arts is not about being better than someone else; it’s about being better than they were the day before. It’s a life lesson that they can carry forward into adulthood.
Please feel free to stop by our facility to observe a class – and bring your child with you. There is no need to call ahead. Come whenever it is convenient for you (although you may want to check our schedule so that you can observe a class that is age-appropriate for your son or daughter). We look forward to seeing you.
Marital Arts School Marketing Advice!
One letter is not going to magically fill your school or training center with new students. But several marketing systems that target different demographics will bring a consistent flow of them if you stick with it and do it correctly.
For example, if you target parents, I highly recommend you get a highly targeted list and send a series of three letters to them over the course of 30 days. The first letter should be an introductory letter like the above. The second and third letters should have a free offer of some sort, with an expiration date on the free offer (make it a good one).
Send a monthly newsletter every month for at least a year to all of your clients and potential prospects on your lists. This alone will bring results that will pleasantly surprise you.
